About Dr Zhang

Dr Xiu Ying Zhang is a qualified physician specialising in Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture.

Born in HarBin city of China. Dr Zhang graduated from the China University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, in Beijing in 1976. She then joined the Department of Acupuncture and Moxibustion at Guang An Men Hospital in Beijing which is a leading hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China.

A leading expert on Acupuncture and Moxibustion, Dr. Zhang has been practising Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture for 36 years with spectacular results and achieving great accuracy in diagnosis and treatment.

18 years ago she came to the Costa del Sol. Since opening her own practice at Centro Comercial Casablanca oficina 3, Avd. Bulevar del Principe, Alfonso Von Hohenlohe, on the Golden Mile of Marbella , she has successfully treaded patients for a wide range of health-related problems ranging from rheumatism to tennis elbow, insomnia to depression, sciatica to migraine.

Like many people who are passionate about their profession, Dr Zhang readily admits that her life is her work. During 18 years on the coast she has built up a loyal following, and many of her patients continue to keep in touch, even if they have moved to another country.

On a personal level, Dr Zhang is delighted with her Mediterranean life. “Marbella is a wonderful place to live, it is so safe, so cosmopolitan and the weather is absolutely perfect,” she says.
